Hokie Grill & Co. represents a branding revolution in dining services. It opened in 1991, offering grilled sandwiches, salad and fruit bar, and bakery-style cookies. Then Dining Services added Chick-fil-A and Pizza Hut in 1997, Blue Ridge Barbecue in 2001, and Dunkin' in Fall 2012. Its Chick-fil-A and Pizza Hut are consistently ranked number one in sales on a college campus in the United States. Hokie Grill & Co. is located in Owens Dining Center, which was built in 1940 and named after university mess steward J.J. "Pops" Owens.

Blue Ridge Barbecue 

Blue Ridge Barbecue is a Virginia Tech Dining Services original concept. This shop features delicious slow-cooked meats prepared in house, along with southern-style side dishes. Customers can purchase single meals or family style platters that are sure to please a crowd.

Chick-fil-A is one of the largest American fast food restaurant chains and the largest whose specialty is chicken sandwiches. Its headquarters are in College Park, Georgia. Chick-fil-A was originally founded as the Dwarf Grill in 1946, changing the name to 'Dwarf House' until rebranding as Chick-fil-A in 1967.

Pizza Hut is an American restaurant chain and international franchise which was founded in 1958 in Wichita, Kansas by Dan and Frank Carney. The company is known for its Italian American cuisine menu, including pizza and pasta.
