As senior associate director of Dining Services, Brandon Hendricks provides leadership and oversight for West End Market at Cochrane Hall, Dietrick Hall, Owens Food Court and Hokie Grill, Squires Food Court at Squires Student Center and the satellite operations, Perry Place at Hitt Hall, and Turner Place at Lavery Hall, collectively encompassing more than 50 dining venues. He also provides oversight for the Southgate Center, the Dining Services’ warehouse, centralized pre-prep, and bake shop as well as the Sustainability initiatives in the department.

Brandon drives a management focus on forward-thinking food service that continually exceeds student expectations using new technology and styles of service while aligning with employee well-being, development opportunities, and work-life balance.

Brandon earned a Master of Natural Resources degree with a sustainable business focus from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel, restaurant, and institutional management from Penn State University. He is a Certified Auxiliary Services Professional through NACAS and has been recognized by Food Management Magazine as a College Foodservice Hero, by the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers for his leadership in COVID-19 response, and by Virginia Tech Student Affairs as an Aspire Award winner in 2021.

Brandon enjoys fostering and supporting shelter animals with his family, being active outdoors, and coaching his children’s baseball teams.
