Updates on Culinary Camp: 2025 and moving forward

Virginia Tech Dining Services has made the difficult decision to retire our Culinary Camp programs, effective immediately. For over 12 years, these camps have provided a unique opportunity for hundreds of aspiring young chefs to explore their passion for cooking and learn valuable skills from our talented culinary team. We are immensely proud of the positive impact these camps have had on participants and grateful for the enthusiasm and support from campers, families, and the community that have made this program so special.

This decision was not made lightly and reflects our commitment to focusing resources on delivering exceptional dining experiences for the Virginia Tech community. While Culinary Camps will no longer be offered, we encourage those interested in culinary education to explore other local and regional programs. Additionally, future opportunities for similar programs may be offered through other Virginia Tech departments. Information about these initiatives will be listed on our website as it becomes available.
